About Me
- Cyndi
- I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I have dabbled in numerous different crafts over the years. I haven't done any paper-crafting in a very long time. About 10 years ago I picked up a crochet hook and started a blanket for a friend. Like with many of us life got in the way and the project was moved to a box and never completed. In 2019, I severely broke my ankle and was confined to the couch for around 6 months. I picked my crochet hooks back up and haven't looked back. I still haven't finished that first blanket, but I have completed several others. I have even attempted to write a couple different patterns. So you will see this blog take on a new look as I start posting my crochet projects.

Another card
I made another card tonight as well. Since Megan got her braces put on today and is in a little pain. I decided to make her a card to help cheer her up.

Two Cards I made
I have been encouraged by a group of ladies on the Cricut message board to do a daily challenge. Each day for an hour we are suppose to do something creative (i.e. Layout, card, other craft project). Last night I ended up crafting for 2 hours and created these two cards.
The first card is a valentines day card that I am going to give to my hubby. The second card is a mothers day card. I created both using the Wild Card Cart and decorated with stickles.

New project is in the works
I have been working on a new project, but I am waiting on a delivery to finish it up. I hope I will be able to share some photos of it on Tuesday. I am excited about this one, because I plan on it being used as a holiday tradition for years to come.

Baptism Bracelets I have made
In the last year I have started making jewelry. I started with a Baptism Bracelet for my then unborn niece. She was born in August 2009. I have also made Baptism or Birthstone Bracelets for friends children and for family. I use sterling silver, pearls, and unleaded crystal gemstones. I also made over 20 different pieces of all sorts for friends and family for Christmas. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not get any photos. I know bad me. Here are some of the bracelets I have made.
Thanks for looking.
Birthday Invitiation
This is the first big project I did after I got my cricut. I had used it a few times to make some letters for layouts, but for these invitations I had to make several (I am thinking close to 20) of them. I know they are simple, but I really like how they turned out. My daughter loved them too. She had a bowling party with a soccer theme. I used the Beyond Birthday Cart.

Starting my Blog
I decided to start a blog so I can share my projects and receive feedback to help me improve my papercrafting. Yesterday my postal carrier and the UPS delivery driver were greeted fondly as they delivered my Zutter Bind it All and my Cricut Expression. Last week I received my Cricut Design Studio software, my Cricut Jukebox, and my Hannah Montana Cartridge. I love getting packages. Now that I have all of my new toys I will be able to start posting my creations. I can't wait to share them with you.
